Position Summary
The Project Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to Project Managers within the Technical Consulting group. This role assists with coordination of project activities, documentation, invoicing, reporting, and communication to help ensure consulting projects progress efficiently and in accordance with RJ Lee Group standards, timelines, and quality expectations.

The Project Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to Project Managers within the Technical Consulting group. This role assists with coordination of project activities, documentation, invoicing, reporting, and communication to help ensure consulting projects progress efficiently and in accordance with RJ Lee Group standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate and track consulting projects by monitoring sample testing progress, managing sample receipt and logging, supporting report preparation, and overseeing the organization, archiving, and storage of samples and project documentation.
- Support project invoicing activities, including accurate data entry and coordination with Project Managers and finance personnel to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Assist in the compilation, organization, formatting, and quality review of technical reports and related project deliverables.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project logistics, communication, and administrative requirements.
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers and technical staff with respect to budgets, schedules, timelines, and milestone tracking.
- Maintain and update project data across internal databases, tracking systems, and documentation repositories.
- Perform additional project coordination and administrative duties as needed to support team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Students currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field are encouraged to apply
- Additional educational requirements may apply based on regulatory or client requirements
- Relevant administrative or project coordination experience preferred
- Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education
- Strong interest in working in a fast-paced scientific or technical environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail when composing, typing, and proofreading materials
- Analytical ability to gather, organize, and summarize data for reports
- Familiarity with technical or scientific terminology, or ability to learn quickly
- Proficiency with common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
